A Child Abuse Prevention Blessing
We ask You to bless us “Your Holy People” who have gathered to learn new ways to help stop child sexual abuse. Open our hearts to Your call to be the “eyes, ears, and voice of children and young people everywhere.” Give us the vision and grace we need to fulfill the special “Commitments” that each of us has made to “Protecting All God’s Children” in our homes, churches, schools, and communities.d
Our Maria Regina Parish Community warmly welcomes you! We pray your time with us is enjoyable and spiritually enriching. Rev. Sang Tran, Pastor
Registering in a parish is a declaration of your desire to part of a Catholic Community and a commitment to the life of the parish family.
Being a registered parishioner makes things much easier when it is time for infant baptism, school registration, weddings, upon being asked to be a baptismal or confirmation sponsor, and even for funerals.
We are often asked to provide affidavits for baptism and confirmation sponsors. We can only do this when a family or each person is registered, active, and a contributing member of our parish.
If you wish to register with our parish family, please call the Parish Office at (310) 323-0030 or stop by the office to complete a registration form.

Third Column Planning in Process: Spring 2016
A huge, grateful “thank you” to those who have contributed to this project’s success. We also appreciate those who have been waiting so patiently for the third column to be completed. We are making arrangements to complete the thrid and final column. To move forward, we need to have payment in full by end of March 2016.
Please call Ms. Jul Marie at the church office to request your balance or to purchase a new brick.
We walked together in harmony
in the house of God (Psalm 55: 14).
Next week, we will be taking a second collection for the Cardinal McIntyre Fund for Charity. You are helping to serve “the neediest of those in need” — children, families, and individuals throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for whom no other resources exist.
You are their hope! Your gift provides a one-time emergency help to registered families with the church who are in a crisis. Provisional assistance is geared to address immediate, pressing problems for expenses such as rent to tide over a financial crisis or a utility bill to keep the water or heat turned on for a week.
Your contributions to the Cardinal McIntyre Fund for Charity make you a sharer in our parishes' works of mercy, and in their rewards of grace.
Thank you in advance for support and generosity.
We, the People of God, under the patronage of Maria Regina, Queen of Heaven and Earth, are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ in this time and in this place. As members of the Body of Christ we gather to worship at the Altar of the Lord in Word and Eucharist, in which we are nourished. From here we go forth as disciples in the power of the Holy Spirit to make the Good News of Jesus Christ alive in our world.
